# How to Track Your Classroom Progress

## Tracking your classroom progress

The DashPledge Teacher Dashboard helps teachers monitor how their classroom is progressing throughout an active fundraiser.

Depending on the campaign, you may be able to follow student participation, activity totals, fundraising progress, achievements, and classroom rankings.

The information displayed depends on the type of fundraiser your school is running.

## 1. Sign in to your Teacher Dashboard

Sign in to DashPledge using your teacher account.

Your Teacher Dashboard provides an overview of the students and campaign associated with your classroom.

Make sure you're connected to the correct school and fundraiser.

## 2. Review your classroom summary

Your dashboard may include summary information such as:

- Participating students
- Student activity
- Classroom activity total
- Amount raised
- Fundraising progress
- Classroom goal
- Recent activity
- Classroom ranking

These totals update as eligible activity and donations are recorded.

## 3. Track student participation

Open **My Students** to review the students assigned to your classroom.

Depending on the campaign, you may be able to see each student's:

- Participation status
- Activity progress
- Fundraising progress
- Achievements or milestones
- Fundraiser status

This can help identify students who are actively participating and students who may still need help getting started.

## 4. Track Read-a-thon progress

For a **Read-a-thon**, classroom progress can include reading activity such as:

- Total reading minutes
- Individual student reading totals
- Reading goal progress
- Recent reading activity
- Reading achievements
- Classroom leaderboard position

As eligible reading minutes are recorded, the classroom's reading progress is updated.

## 5. Track Move-a-thon progress

For a **Move-a-thon**, the Teacher Dashboard can display the movement or activity measurement configured for the campaign.

Depending on the fundraiser setup, this may include:

- Individual student activity
- Classroom activity totals
- Activity goal progress
- Recent activity
- Student achievements
- Classroom leaderboard position

Always use the activity measurement displayed for your school's Move-a-thon.

## 6. Track fundraising progress

Activity and fundraising progress are separate.

Your Teacher Dashboard may also show how much your classroom or participating students have raised.

Depending on the campaign, you may see:

- Total amount raised
- Fundraising goal
- Percentage of goal reached
- Student fundraising progress
- Classroom fundraising progress

Eligible donations update fundraising totals independently from activity totals.

## 7. Review recent activity

Your dashboard may include recent classroom activity.

This can help you see when students:

- Record eligible activity
- Receive donations
- Reach fundraising goals
- Reach activity milestones
- Earn achievements

Available activity information depends on the campaign.

## 8. View classroom rankings

If leaderboards are enabled, DashPledge may show how your classroom is performing compared with other participating classrooms.

The ranking may be based on activity, fundraising, or another campaign measurement.

The exact leaderboard rules depend on the fundraiser.

## Why don't all students show the same progress?

Each student's progress is based on their own eligible activity and fundraising participation.

Students may have different:

- Activity totals
- Fundraising totals
- Goals
- Achievements
- Participation status

This is normal.

## What if a classroom total looks incorrect?

First, review the individual student information contributing to the total.

For activity totals, verify that entries were recorded for the correct students and dates.

For fundraising totals, remember that only eligible donations associated with the appropriate fundraiser are included.

Refresh the dashboard and check again.

If the information still appears incorrect, visit **Troubleshooting**.

## What if an unclaimed student appears in my classroom?

An unclaimed student can still be part of the fundraiser roster.

Claim status indicates whether a parent or guardian has connected the child to a parent account.

Do not remove or recreate a student simply because the student is unclaimed.

## Can teachers change fundraising totals?

No.

Fundraising totals are based on eligible donation records and should not be manually changed by teachers.

If you believe a fundraising total is incorrect, contact the fundraiser organizer or DashPledge Support.

## Can teachers change activity totals?

Teachers may be able to add or correct eligible activity using the activity controls provided for the campaign.

Do not create duplicate activity entries to manually adjust a student's total.

If an incorrect entry cannot be corrected using the available controls, ask the fundraiser organizer or DashPledge Support for assistance.

## What happens when the campaign ends?

When the fundraiser reaches its scheduled end date, campaign activity is finalized according to the campaign settings.

Teachers can use the available classroom information to review participation and celebrate student and classroom accomplishments.
