Marlon Ramos is an IT consultant and the founder of DashPledge.
The idea for DashPledge started close to home. His wife, Aileen, served as a PTA treasurer and worked alongside school volunteers organizing move-a-thons, read-a-thons, and other fundraisers. Marlon saw firsthand how much time and effort families put into fundraising — and how frustrating it was to see a portion of the money raised go toward platform fees.
That experience inspired him to build a simpler, more transparent alternative.
Marlon created DashPledge so schools, teams, and community organizations can raise money online without a percentage-based platform fee — helping more of every donation support the cause it was intended for.
