Finding a fundraiser on DashPledge #
DashPledge makes it easy to find and support participating school, organization, and student fundraisers.
You may reach a fundraiser through a link shared by a participant, a QR code, or by searching for a fundraiser on DashPledge.
Use a shared fundraiser link #
The easiest way to reach a specific fundraiser is to use the link shared with you by the school, organization, parent, student, teacher, or fundraiser participant.
Open the link to go directly to the fundraising page.
Before donating, review the fundraiser information to make sure you’ve reached the campaign or participant you intended to support.
Scan a fundraiser QR code #
Some DashPledge fundraisers may provide a QR code for easy sharing.
To use a QR code:
- Open your phone’s camera or QR code scanner.
- Point the camera at the DashPledge QR code.
- Tap the link that appears.
- Review the fundraising page before making a donation.
The QR code should take you directly to the associated DashPledge fundraising page.
Search for a fundraiser #
You may also be able to find public fundraisers through DashPledge’s Explore Fundraisers page.
Use the available search options to locate the school, organization, or fundraiser you’re looking for.
When several similar results appear, check the fundraiser name and organization information before selecting one.
Finding a student’s fundraising page #
Student fundraising pages are generally shared directly by the student’s parent, guardian, family, or participating school.
If you’re trying to support a particular student, using the student’s direct fundraising link or QR code is the best way to make sure your donation goes to the intended fundraiser.
For privacy and safety, not all student information may be publicly searchable.
What if I can’t find the fundraiser? #
If a fundraiser doesn’t appear in search results, there are several possible reasons:
- The fundraiser hasn’t started yet.
- The fundraiser is no longer active.
- The fundraising page hasn’t been published yet.
- The fundraiser may not be publicly searchable.
- The school or organization may have provided a direct link instead.
If someone invited you to donate, ask them to resend their DashPledge fundraising link or QR code.
How do I know I’m on the correct fundraiser? #
Before donating, review the information shown on the fundraising page.
Depending on the campaign, this may include:
- School or organization name
- Fundraiser name
- Campaign description
- Fundraising goal and progress
- Participant or classroom information
- Campaign photos or videos
Only continue with your donation after confirming that you’ve reached the fundraiser you intended to support.
Can I share a fundraiser I find? #
Yes. If sharing is available for the fundraiser, you can use its public fundraising link to share it with friends, relatives, or other supporters.
Parents and participants may also have additional sharing tools available from their DashPledge dashboard.
