Tracking your fundraiser’s progress #
DashPledge gives organizers several ways to monitor an active fundraiser.
You can follow overall fundraising progress, donations, participant activity, classroom performance, and other campaign information from your Organizer Dashboard.
The information available depends on the fundraiser type.
Start with your Organizer Dashboard #
Sign in to your DashPledge Organizer Dashboard.
The dashboard provides an overview of your organization and active fundraising activity.
For more detailed information, you can use:
- My Campaigns
- Fundraiser Admin
- Donations
- Reports
Each area provides a different view of campaign performance.
Track progress from My Campaigns #
Open My Campaigns to quickly review the fundraisers associated with your organization.
Each campaign can display information such as:
- Campaign status
- Amount raised
- Fundraising goal
- Percentage of goal reached
- Number of supporters
- Campaign dates
- Time remaining
This is a useful place to get a quick snapshot of how a fundraiser is performing.
Understanding the fundraising goal #
The campaign fundraising goal represents the overall amount your organization hopes to raise.
As eligible donations are received, DashPledge updates the amount raised and progress toward the goal.
For example, if your campaign has raised $5,000 toward a $10,000 goal, the campaign has reached 50% of its fundraising goal.
Track donations #
Open Donations from the Organizer Dashboard for more detailed donation information.
The Donations area helps you review the contributions associated with your organization’s fundraiser.
Fundraising totals should be based on eligible donation records rather than manually entered amounts.
Track participant progress #
Open:
Fundraiser Admin → Fundraiser Participants
to review the teachers and students participating in the campaign.
Depending on the fundraiser, participant information can help you monitor:
- Participating teachers
- Participating students
- Classroom relationships
- Claimed students
- Unclaimed students
- Student participation
Accurate participant information is important for activity tracking and campaign reporting.
Track Read-a-thon progress #
For a Read-a-thon, DashPledge can track reading participation in addition to fundraising.
Depending on the campaign, organizers may be able to monitor:
- Reading minutes
- Student reading progress
- Classroom reading progress
- Reading goals
- Student achievements
- Leaderboard rankings
Reading progress and fundraising progress are separate measurements.
A student can make strong reading progress even if their fundraising total is different.
Track Move-a-thon progress #
For a Move-a-thon, DashPledge can track the movement or activity measurement configured for the campaign.
Depending on the fundraiser, organizers may be able to monitor:
- Student activity
- Classroom activity
- Activity goals
- Participation
- Achievements
- Leaderboard rankings
The activity measurement used depends on the Move-a-thon configuration.
Use the Global Leaderboard #
Open:
Fundraiser Admin → Global Leaderboard
to review campaign-wide leaderboard information for supported fundraisers.
The Global Leaderboard can help you see how participating students or classrooms are progressing across the fundraiser.
Leaderboard information depends on the campaign type, eligible activity, and privacy settings.
Track classroom progress #
Teachers have their own classroom tools for monitoring assigned students.
At the organizer level, campaign-wide participant and leaderboard information can help you understand how classrooms are progressing across the fundraiser.
This can help identify:
- Active classrooms
- Changes in participation
- Campaign momentum
- Progress toward activity goals
Monitor achievements and milestones #
Supported campaigns may recognize students when they reach eligible activity or fundraising milestones.
Achievements can help organizers understand participation beyond the overall amount raised.
Available milestones depend on the fundraiser configuration.
Use Reports for deeper campaign information #
Open Reports from the Organizer Dashboard when you need a more detailed view of campaign performance.
Reports can provide additional information for reviewing fundraising activity and campaign results.
Use My Campaigns for a quick snapshot and Reports when you need deeper campaign analysis.
Monitor campaign dates #
Campaign progress should also be viewed in relation to the fundraiser’s start and end dates.
My Campaigns can show campaign dates and the time remaining for an active fundraiser.
Knowing how much time remains can help organizers understand whether additional sharing or participation reminders may be useful.
Will DashPledge send campaign progress reminders? #
DashPledge may send campaign progress and deadline communications during an active fundraiser.
These communications can help participating families stay engaged and aware of important campaign dates.
Available communications depend on the campaign configuration.
What if the amount raised looks incorrect? #
First, refresh the campaign information.
Then review the Donations area to confirm the eligible donation activity associated with the fundraiser.
Do not manually create donation records or adjust participant activity to make the displayed total match an expected number.
If the donation records appear correct but the campaign total still does not, visit Troubleshooting or contact DashPledge Support.
What if activity totals look incorrect? #
For activity-based campaigns, review the underlying participant activity.
Check that activity was recorded for:
- The correct student
- The correct date
- The correct campaign
- The appropriate activity type
Also confirm that the student is associated with the correct teacher or classroom.
Do not create duplicate activity entries simply to adjust a total.
What if the leaderboard doesn’t match the activity totals? #
First, confirm that the underlying activity totals are correct.
Leaderboard eligibility can also depend on campaign participation and privacy rules.
If the underlying information is correct but the leaderboard still appears incorrect, visit Troubleshooting.
How can I tell if the campaign is ready and healthy? #
Open:
Fundraiser Admin → Campaign Settings → Campaign Health
Campaign Health helps you review campaign readiness, publishing status, and connected campaign functionality.
Use it when you suspect a campaign configuration issue rather than changing unrelated settings.
What happens when the fundraiser ends? #
When the campaign reaches its scheduled end date, campaign activity is finalized according to the fundraiser’s rules.
Organizers can use the available campaign information and Reports to review final fundraising and participation results.
Payout information is managed separately through Payouts.
