Tracking your child’s progress #
After your child’s fundraiser is published, DashPledge helps you follow their fundraising and activity progress from your parent dashboard.
The information available can vary depending on the type of fundraiser your school is running.
1. Sign in to your parent dashboard #
Sign in to your DashPledge parent or guardian account.
Your dashboard displays the participating children connected to your account and provides access to their fundraising information.
If you have more than one participating child, select the child whose progress you want to view.
2. View the amount raised #
Your child’s fundraiser can show how much has been raised through their fundraising page.
As eligible donations are recorded, the fundraising total is updated to reflect your child’s progress.
You may see information such as:
- Amount raised
- Fundraising goal
- Percentage of goal completed
- Remaining amount needed to reach the goal
3. View fundraising goal progress #
If your child has an individual fundraising goal, DashPledge can display their progress toward that goal.
For example, if the goal is $500 and the fundraiser has raised $250, the page may show that the fundraiser is 50% toward its goal.
Your child’s individual goal may be different from the overall fundraising goal for the school or organization.
4. Track activity progress #
Some DashPledge campaigns include activities in addition to fundraising.
For example, a read-a-thon may track reading minutes, while other campaign types may track different participation goals.
Depending on the fundraiser, your dashboard may show:
- Total activity completed
- Activity goal
- Recent activity
- Progress toward milestones
- Classroom or campaign progress
5. View achievements and milestones #
Some fundraisers may include achievements or milestones that recognize participation or fundraising progress.
Your child may earn recognition for reaching certain activity or fundraising goals.
Available achievements depend on the campaign type and fundraiser settings.
6. Check recent progress #
Return to your parent dashboard throughout the campaign to see updated fundraising and activity information.
Progress may change when:
- A new donation is received
- New activity is logged
- A fundraising milestone is reached
- An activity goal is completed
What if a recent donation doesn’t appear? #
Donation information may not always appear instantly.
Refresh the page and check again after a short period.
If the donation still doesn’t appear, confirm that the supporter donated through the correct fundraising page.
For additional donation questions, visit Donations & Donors.
What if my child’s activity total looks incorrect? #
First, review the available activity information for your child.
For activity-based campaigns, make sure the appropriate activity has been logged for the correct child.
If the total still appears incorrect, visit Troubleshooting for additional help.
Can I compare progress with the classroom? #
Some campaigns may include classroom progress or leaderboards.
These features can show how participating students or classrooms are progressing during the fundraiser.
The information displayed depends on the campaign type and the privacy settings established for the fundraiser.
Will I receive progress updates? #
DashPledge may send parents and guardians campaign progress or deadline notifications during an active fundraiser.
These updates can help you see how the fundraiser is progressing and remind you about important campaign dates.
Available notifications may depend on the fundraiser and your account settings.
Does the public fundraising page show progress too? #
Yes, the public fundraising page may display fundraising or activity progress when those features are enabled for the campaign.
Public information can differ from the more detailed information available through your parent dashboard.
What happens when the fundraiser ends? #
When the campaign reaches its scheduled end date, fundraising activity is finalized according to the campaign settings.
You can continue to review available information about your child’s participation and accomplishments as provided by DashPledge.
